I've never owned such a versatile watch. It can be worn with casual or classy attire. I feel powerful wearing it. Any where I go, people cant help but get a quick glance of my wrist. Its stainless steel, but it feels like diamonds. I love this time piece. I got one in Prelude White and its like glacier ice. It's so clean and there's nothing like it at this price.

This watch is the most comfortable I've ever owned, the micro adjust on the metal bracelet and the quick release on the leather one make it set and forget. The craftsmanship makes this steel watch look better than ones using precious metals, I've found that my charcoal one looks great in low light especially. It's quickly become something I want to wear every day.

The quality of this watch is amazing. Even after watching the progress pictures and updates closely, the watch still passed expectations. Wear this daily at a very busy job and it holds up extremely well, and cleaning is super easy. The attention to to detail in every little part and piece included with the watch makes it feel like I should have paid way more than I had. I was thrilled to be able to help fund the kickstarter for this project. After purchasing the watch (NVM (Pink)), the anticipation was eating away as each watch was assembled and shipped with care and precision. As a backer we were kept up to date on the project and notified about each step along the way. This company has a passion for their product and business. And to no surprise, everything surrounding their project was handled with the love and care all businesses should aspire to. From the details in the packaging to the beauty in the watch everything was perfect. I wear my watch every chance I get, so I would recommend NVM to anyone looking to buy a high quality timepiece.

I was fortunate enough to secure a Founder’s Edition of the Prelude in Midnight Blue, and after patiently awaiting its arrival, I can confidently say that good things truly do come to those who wait.

Even receiving the NVM package was an experience in itself. The Nouveau Monde–branded shipping box and matching tape added an unexpected touch of luxury before I even saw the watch. Inside, the watch box was secured so snugly that I can’t imagine it being damaged unless the entire parcel was crushed. The premium feel continues with the watch box—beautiful to the eye, satisfying to the touch, and built with impressive sturdiness.

The timepiece is a marvel of machining and subtle elegance. While the website photos are accurate, they still can’t fully capture the brilliance of the sunburst dial. Under the sapphire glass, the shifting blues shimmer in a way that’s even more captivating in person.

The On-the-Fly Micro Adjustment bracelet elevates the entire wearing experience. Once you fine tune it to your liking, it all but disappears on your wrist. I may never purchase another watch without this feature. The additional leather strap is equally thoughtful—the stitching matches the dial color. In my case, the black leather strap came with deep blue stitching to complement the Midnight Blue face. The leather strap also features a butterfly clasp which makes for quick and easy fitting; once the clasp is set at the correct size you can slip it on and press button to take it off. Adjusting the bracelet, setting the time, and swapping straps were all straightforward; the included manual is there if you need a reference.

For horology enthusiasts, the included Timegraph Analysis sheet will be a welcome addition. Each movement is regulated in house, and the accompanying timegrapher sheet reflects those efforts. My Prelude tested at an impressive –3 s/day. Also included is a Certificate of Authenticity that’s as intricate and refined as a high quality banknote.

In all, I am thoroughly pleased with my Prelude. It surpasses every expectation—both in form and function—in a way no other timepiece has for me. Whether I’m dressed up or keeping things casual, it always feels stately and appropriate. It will undoubtedly be my daily driver for the foreseeable future, and I’m already looking forward to expanding my Nouveau Monde collection.
